Cream colored paper with no strands or textures. Only 100% natural paper can have this nice, soft tone of off white. The authentic washi (Japanese paper) is made of kozo (mulberry), and it is a reproduction of historic Hadayoshigami, the paper endorsed by emperors of Japan. Washi doesn't yellow over time, instead, it brightens up as it ages.
It is helpful to print out a copy of the measuring instructions to have with you at the window while you measure. It is also helpful to make a small diagram of the room and number each window as you measure as even small difference in measurements can affect installing the shades.
Samples of any paper will be supplied upon request (go to Contact page). Please note that colors and textures of papers may be different than the images on a computer monitor so ordering actual samples is recommended.
All shades come with installation hardware. This hardware can be specially antiqued to darken it if requested.
