Welcome! This website lists some of my current creative ventures. Please explore my other website, www.shojishades.com if you are interested in my custom Japanese paper roller blinds.

I was very pleased to be accepted in a show at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, MA in the summer of 2022 entitled "Art of the Hills: Visual Evidence" which features artists from the Berkshire area (Washington Depot just made it in the 90 mile radius from Pittsfield!). The piece is called "Full Filament #2" which uses a digital scan and some collaged fragments.

The show is up until September 11, 2022 so if you are in the area,

I was thrilled to be included in "Freed Formats: the book reconsidered" which traveled to many different venues across Connecticut and showed 135 works of book art from artists all over the world.

I'm also happy to announce I won "Best in Show" at Gallery 25's 2019 Open Photography Show in New Milford, CT. The piece that won, "Full Filament" can be seen by selecting Photography in the bar and going to "Mono no Aware".

My jewelry is now being sold at Dawn Hill Antiques (11 Main St., New Preston, CT). I am there most Wednesdays but the store is open every day but Tuesdays. Stop in and say hello!

In the fall of 2015, I had a one person show at the Gunn Memorial Library in Washington, Connecticut entitled "Borrowed Scenery". Please click on "Photography" above to see most of the pieces included in the show. One image from the show, "Fenn Hill" won second prize for Photography in the Members' Show at the Washington Art Association. Thank you very much to the Ferguson Sherr Rea Award!
