Welcome! This website lists some of my current creative ventures. Please explore my other website, www.shojishades.com if you are interested in my custom Japanese paper roller blinds.
Currently I'm in two shows, one opening on 4/27 at the Washington Art Association called "Point of View".
I'll include the three pieces in the show in the Photography page above.
I'm thrilled to be included in "Freed Formats: the book reconsidered" which will be traveling to many different venues across Connecticut and will show 135 works of book art from artists all over the world. Stay tuned for each opening! The first one is on March 30th at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists in Ridgefield, CT and the Mark Twain Library in Redding, CT.
I'm also happy to announce I won "Best in Show" at Gallery 25's 2019 Open Photography Show in New Milford, CT. The piece that won, "Full Filament" can be seen by selecting Photography in the bar and going to "Mono no Aware".
My jewelry is now being sold at Dawn Hill Antiques (11 Main St., New Preston, CT). I am there most Wednesdays but the store is open every day but Tuesdays. Stop in and say hello!
In the fall of 2015, I had a one person show at the Gunn Memorial Library in Washington, Connecticut entitled "Borrowed Scenery". Please click on "Photography" above to see most of the pieces included in the show. One image from the show, "Fenn Hill" won second prize for Photography in the Members' Show at the Washington Art Association. Thank you very much to the Ferguson Sherr Rea Award!
